Janet Brimson, Head iFocus Knowledge has been invited to facilitate a one-day workshop at the inaugural National Summit on Information Management in the Public Sector, to be held in Canberra from 26-28 November 2002.
Janet will be facilitating a day session on the topic "How to develop a strategic plan for enterprise information management". Participants will learn how to:
- Provide staff with the tools they need to manage information effectively
- Develop standards and guidelines to support the management of information and information systems
- Design information architecture based on the functions and information requirements of the organisation
- Collate information about electronic, paper-based and other forms of data
- Construct a strategic framework for ensuring high data quality
- Develop an enterprise-wide information management program and design information management plans.
Janet will also be officially welcoming delegates and chairing the first session of the summit.
