1 October 2004
iFocus has been named the principal sponsor of the 2004 Bone Marrow Donor Institute’s Red Ball, to be held 22 October at the Crown Towers in Melbourne.
This year’s Red Ball will feature a performance by Hugh Jackman, Hollywood star and 2004 Tony Award® winner for his role in the Broadway musical The Boy from Oz. Hugh and his wife Deborah-lee Furness are celebrity patrons of the Institute.
The Bone Marrow Donor Institute (BMDI) helps children and adults with Leukaemia and other life-threatening illnesses.
The Red Ball is one of Melbourne's largest charity and social events of the year. The event raises money for projects run by the institute, including the BMDI National Cord Blood Bank, medical research, support groups and BMDI House, which provides accommodation to families and patients during long-term treatment.
The iFocus team is committed to supporting programs that give hope to the lives of young people.
