Learning about and talking to your users is essential. User research is often seen as an imposition on the development process. This introduces an additional level of risk to the project.
Users can play a key role in:
- defining requirements and functionality
- defining required content
- endorsing your direction
- endorsing your final product.
Users can be involved in your project at different stages. In the beginning, users can be consulted on their requirements and give comment on what you currently have. During the project, users can view samples of your direction and provide comment. Towards the end, users can again be asked about direction and provide endorsement.
iFocus has conducted many research projects that have provided long-term value to clients. Using quantitative, qualitative, ethnographic and marketing techniques we can develop a blended research approach most suited to your requirements and audience.
We can conduct:
- focus groups
- panel groups
- online surveys
- paper-based surveys
- one-on-one interviews.
