User-centred design

It seems obvious. If you’re designing something to meet the needs of other people, you first have to find out what those needs are. Unfortunately, it’s often overlooked in favour of saving time and meeting budgets. The needs of the user are lost in the shuffle.

User-centred design helps bring everyone back to that original purpose. It cuts through the competing agendas and helps remind everyone which tasks and functions are most important.
